Askelad (Carrie) and the Troll’s Hideous Daughter, Meget Stygg (Rolf)
Askelad is our most theatrical work to date. It was composed for us by Margi Griebling-Haigh. We perform, narrate, and act out portions of the story. It was commissioned by funds from the Jerome Composers Commissioning Project of the American Composers Forum. We recorded it this year in MPR studios, and released it as a book/CD, with music and illustrations by Margi Griebling-Haigh.
