The performance features Gustavus Adolphus College Adjunct Assistant Professor of Bass, Rolf Erdahl, performing a lecture/recital concert titled “Accounting for Grieg.” Dr. Erdahl, accompanied by pianist William Eddins, will perform from Grieg’s Cello Sonata and “Intermezzo,” and the first of Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, Op. 73.
This previews some of the information Rolf will be sharing in Bergen, Norway in October as an invited lecturer to the International seminar, “Romantic Piano Meets the Hardanger Fiddle: Edvard Grieg’s Chamber Works and Solo Piano Music.”
This concert is free and open to the public, no ticket is required.
