OboeBass! presents a free Livestream concert, Friday, May 8, 7:00 pm CDT on PerformingArts.Live
The program will last approximately 40 minutes, and features works composed for OboeBass! by Timothy Goplerud, “The third member of the OboeBass! duo,” Adrian Mann, Principal Bass and Staff Composer of the Ft. Wayne Philharmonic, and Valerie Coleman, hailed by Washington Post Music Critic Anne Midgette as “one of the Top 35 Women Composers,” named Performance Today’s 2020 “Classical Music Woman of the Year.” Valerie Coleman’s American Vein was made possible by a grant from the Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Program, with generous funding provided by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
