OboeBass! recital at UW Eau Claire

OboeBass!, the worldʼs only professional oboe/bass duo, brings a recital showcasing their unique artistry and instrumental blends to the UWEC Summer Double Reed Camp Carrie Vecchione, oboe/English horn, and Rolf Erdahl, double bass, perform music by classical masters along with some of the exciting and evocative new pieces composed especially for them. Music of Handel, Grieg, Piazzolla, Tim Goplerud, Julie Johnson, and Adrian Mann. They’ll also perform some pieces from their latest CD release, Monk Fish Tango, Music for English horn and double bass by Timothy Goplerud.

The 4:00 recital, free and open to the public, will be in the L.E. Phillips Recital Hall in the Haas Fine Arts Center on the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire campus.
